I am a professional Tailor/Stitcher and member of TWU 764 in New York City. A blue ribbon for a 4-H sewing project in 5th grade inspired me to pursue my love of creating with fabric. After studying Costume Design and Construction at Sacramento City College and CSUS, I started working in costume shops of local theaters and opera companies.  Which led me to moves to San Francisco, and then to New York City.

Although I enjoyed designing costumes, I realized that I enjoyed making them more.  My focus grew to builds and alterations for Film, TV, theater, commercials, videos and print media.  I work closely with designers and their assistants to help create their designs and ideas.  Whether building from scratch, altering a garment for a custom fit or transforming an existing garment into something else.  I apply high standards, pay attention to detail and complete each project on time and within budget.

I have a well equipped studio conveniently located in Long island City. Steps away from R/M, 36th Street subway stop.  Close to Kaufman Astoria and Silver Cup Studios and minutes from the Ed Koch/59th Street bridge. I also work on location, at studios, coffee houses, parks, beaches...wherever work calls and there is electricity to run my machines.
